There was plenty of friendly competition at our lunch club last week as we had a go at darts on our large fabric dart board.

Safe, easy to use and suitable for all abilities, the oversized board gave everyone the chance to join in, whether they were seasoned dart players or trying it for the first time.
Our lunch clubs here at Teams and Bensham Community Care are held every Tuesday and Wednesday from mid morning to mid afternoon. We have a two course hot meal, plenty of activities and transport from home and back again in the local area.
The lunch clubs are wonderful, and it's all down to the people who attend as well as our great team of staff and volunteers. Everyone cheered each player, celebrated good throws and there was plenty of laughter too.
Activities like team darts offer many benefits in later life. They help to improve hand-eye coordination, balance and gentle movement, while also keeping the mind active through simple scoring and decision-making.
Just as importantly, playing together helps reduce feelings of loneliness, builds confidence and creates opportunities for conversation and shared experiences.
At our lunch clubs, we believe that staying active should always be enjoyable. Whether it's a perfect bullseye or simply sharing a smile with friends, every game brings people together and reminds us that it's never too late to have fun, learn something new and enjoy the company of others.
We can't wait for the next match!
